#WWWWednesday: 18 October 2023

Hello, hello and welcome back to another episode of WWW Wednesday, a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words, which means I’ll be answering these questions:

  1. What did you read last?
  2. What are you currently reading?
  3. What will you read next?

Since last Wednesday, I finished two books. Holiday reading hasn’t been going great but at least I’ve enjoyed the books I read! 😍

The Dating Playbook by Farrah Rochon ★★★★☆
This was so fun and sexy! Taylor and Jamar had great chemistry and amazing banter. I also loved that this focused on their personal growth as much as it did on their sweet romance. The way they supported each other through their personal journeys was fantastic!

To Her Rescue (The Knight Brothers #1) by Dria Andersen ★★★★☆
I didn’t have any expectations going into this but it was a surprisingly sweet and sexy (panther) shifter romance! The writing was pretty straightforward, which at times detracted from emotionally connecting to the characters but I loved the open communication, the body positivity messages, and the lack of romantic drama—although it certainly didn’t lack in family drama because Celine’s family were The Worst™️. I can’t wait to read the next one! 😍

More ✨spooky-season-but-make-it-lite reads✨ and hopefully, soon, all the BIPOC reads for the #23for23 challenge, too!?! 🤞🏽

What are you currently reading? Have you read any of these books or are they also on your TBR? Happy reading, friends!

  1. I saw a few people talking about That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon! I might have to add it to my TBR, depending on how you enjoy it! ❤ I hope you have a wonderful week, Dini!!
