We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Favorite Character Relationships (These can be platonic or not. Romantic relationships, parent/child, siblings, family bonds, friendships, found families, pet/human, etc.)
As an emotional reader, I always end up loving a book more when I get invested in the relationships whether it’s romantic, friendships, siblings, or animal companions/sidekicks. Get me invested in those and chances are one or two more points will go towards boosting my final rating. There are so many that I can choose from and I won’t even touch on half of my favourite relationships but here are ten that still make me smile goofily when I think about them now!

💜 The Bergman Brothers Series 💜
I love the Bergman siblings so freaking much!
💜 Getting Lucky Series 💜
This is still my favourite MQ series and the Knightly family is a big reason for that!
💜 Stay a Spell Series 💜
The connection between the Savoie sisters is wonderful and I love this big family they make!
💜 Wolfsong 💜
There is such a great found family in this but I especially loved the relationship between Ox and Gordo, who was the father/older brother/mentor figure Ox never had.
💜 In a Jam 💜
Noah & Shay were wonderful parental figures for Gennie and it was so damn entertaining watching them deal with her wildness! 😂 They made the perfect little family.

💜 The Undertaking of Hart and Mercy 💜
I adored the relationship Hart forms with Duckers. It was just so heartwarming! 🥹
💜 Psalm for the Wild-Built 💜
Monk & Robot were fantastic! I loved their philosophical ponderings and exchanges.
💜 The Murderbot Diaries Series 💜
I love many of the relationships that Murderbot explores with the humans but his friendship with ART is *chefs kiss*!
💜 Sorcery of Thorns 💜
Silas. Do I need to say more?! I love Silas and his relationship with Nathaniel so much.
💜 Shades of Magic Series 💜
There are lots of great friendships in this series and even great frenemyships (looking at you, Holland) and I loved them all. Rhy and Kell, Alucard and Lila… Such a great crew!

Have you read any of these books or are they on your TBR? If you have, what did you think about these relationships? Were they faves for you too?

I read Psalm for the Wild-Built just last month, and loved the relationship between the two.

The Getting Lucky series is my favorite from MQ, too! And the Bennett family from Wolfsong… oh my heart!

Dex and Mosscap have a hilarious dynamic! I’m reading Network Effect now so this was (very minor) spoilers but I remember ART and Murderbot from the second book cracked me up too. Glad to see that it makes a comeback! The Undertaking of Hart and Mercy is on my TBR, but The Murderbot Diaries has currently taken over my reading life. 🙃 Have a great week!

I love Dex and Mosscap and I can’t wait to continue their adventures. I hope you enjoy Network Effect 😍 ART has a bigger role in it and I loved it so much, lol. Also, I hope you love Hart & Mercy. I didn’t expect to love it as much as I did but wow, I was obsessed. LOL Happy reading and hope you’ve had a great week!

The brotherly love in MQ’s series is definitely one of the reasons I adore that series.

Agreed! Great relationships in a book can definitely make up for a boring plot or not-so-stellar writing or just an otherwise meh read.
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
