We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Books With One-Word Titles (submitted by Angela @ Reading Frenzy Book Blog)
Hello out there! It’s been a minute… I’ve been on hiatus for a while now—for longer than I initially planned actually, and now I’m struggling to get back into the swing of reading and blogging. Being so exhausted emotionally, mentally and physically has really drained my drive to read and put me in a bit of a funky mood even weeks after the madness of work has ended. But I digress!
What better way to try to get back into the swing of things than by participating in one of my favourite weekly memes, right? Thankfully, this week’s topic was easier than I thought it’d be thanks to my library catalogue and I also had many more one-word titles than I expected! On that note, let’s get to it… Here are a few books that are still on my TBR after all these years!

Piranesi by Susanna Clarke
Ayiti by Roxane Gay
Vespertine by Margaret Rogerson
SLAY by Brittney Morris
Legendborn by Tracy Deonn

Godkiller by Hannah Kaner
Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi
Foundryside by Robert Jackson Bennett
Squire by Sara Alfageeh
Nimona by ND Stevenson

How are you doing? Have you read any of these books or are they also on your TBR? Do you have many books with one-word titles in your collection?

Godkiller sounds like a good read for sure.
Here is my Top Ten Tuesday post.

I really wasn’t sure Slay would be my thing, but I loved it! And Nimona’s brilliant too. Have you watched the new film?

I haven’t read any of these books, but am dipping in and out of fantasy. Which one do you think you will read first?

I’ve been in quite the reading and blogging slump. Hopefully we can both get back into the swing of things soon. Fun seeing which titles you picked!

DINI!!! Glad to see you back. I have not read any of these and actually struggled with this topic. I guess my books are like old emo song titles – long.

I haven’t read any of these, but the titles really are intriguing!

Great picks, Dini! I just watched Nimona a few days ago. Loved it!

You found some interesting titles there, Dini. Of course, as so often, I don’t know any of them (though I have read a book by Susanna Clarke (Jonathan Strange …).
“Homegoing” sounds extremely interesting. I’ve put that on my wishlist. Thanks.
And thanks for visiting my TTT this week.

I love Nimona so much. I need to make time to watch the movie. I still haven’t got to Legendborn yet.

Great list! Some of these—Piranesi, Slay, and Foundryside—are still on my TBR too. Hopefully we’ll both enjoy them when we get to them. Happy reading, and thanks for visiting my TTT earlier!

So happy to see you back Dini! Hope you’ll be completely out of the funk very soon.
I forgot about Nimona, that’s such a good one that’s on my TBR too! And Vespertine is one I hope to read soon too.

I’ve only read Foundryside from your list, but a few others are on my tbr. I think that’s why I took so long to take a blogging hiatus. I was afraid once I took a break I wouldn’t want to come back. Ha! Thankfully that didn’t happen, but I’m also just easing back into blogging. Take all the time you need!

I still have Slay on my TBR too, even though it’s been so long. I don’t really like tech-based books but that one just sound so interesting I couldn’t bring myself to remove it!
