Hello, hello and welcome back to another episode of WWW Wednesday, a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words, which means I’ll be answering these questions:
- What did you read last?
- What are you currently reading?
- What will you read next?

Since last week I managed to finish reading eight books! Who am I? 👀 I Have no idea! I honestly didn’t realise I’d read this much but it helped that it was a long weekend and I spent much of it lying in bed in semi-darkness battling a migraine. Intermittent reading was basically all I could manage most days so, read I definitely did! You’ll probably be able to tell by what I read but I was in a weird reading mood.

(KU) Tempt (Cloverleigh Farms #9) by Melanie Harlow ★★★★☆
This was a mature age gap forbidden romance that I really enjoyed! The characters were fun to read about, the supporting cast is everything I love in a small-town setting, the physical connection and sexual chemistry were undeniable, and I loved the bit of angst and tension.
(ARC) Hollow by Shannon Watters ★★★★☆
This was an oddly cosy spooky thriller that I really enjoyed! It’ll be perfect for the spooky season, especially for those who are scardies like me and can’t take much on the scary front! [CHECK OUT MY REVIEW!]
(ARC) Romancing the Heiress (Lords in Love #3) by Darcy Burke ★★½
Sadly, I did not love this one. It’s very short and there was hardly any time to develop the characters and I did not feel their romantic chemistry at all. [CHECK OUT MY REVIEW!]
The Claw and the Crowned (The Book of All Things #5) by Sarah M. Cradit ★★★½
I was pretty conflicted about this cos I read these 550 pages in one day but I don’t think it needed to be that long and it still felt undercooked. I wanted stronger character development and world-building but I enjoyed the romance. There was a lot of delicious tension between the princess and her bodyguard that resulted in some explosive steamy scenes but I wanted more of everything else!
(KU) Cannetella (Tales of the Lost Kindgom #1) by Elodie Rowan ★★★☆☆
This had an easy-to-follow plot, uncomplicated characters, a bit of mystery and adventure, and a romance that had the chemistry to back it up and one that I could root for. The FMC was a little *too* immature for my liking and the endless drama was trying but it was a decent romantasy debut!
(ARC) Untethered Sky by Fonda Lee ★★★★★
This was unsurprisingly amazing. I loved it and it only proves how brilliant a writer Fonda Lee is—her world building and characterisation is impeccable! I need and want more, pls! 😍 [CHECK OUT MY REVIEW!]
(KU) Morning Glory Milking Farm (Cambric Creek #1) by C.M. Nacosta ★★★★☆
(or 3.5/3.75 not yet sure)
This is monster romance. I didn’t expect to find myself coming back to this sub-genre but my curiosity about this book won out. It’s (obviously) very sexual but I also like how the author touched upon issues like sex work and capitalism and I was pleasantly surprised by how cosy and romantic and slow-burn this ended up being!
Small Miracles by Olivia Atwater ★★★★☆
This was such a delightfully charming story! I thoroughly enjoyed Atwater’s writing style. This was a fairly low-stakes story about fallen angels, debts, sins and virtues, petty temptations and of course, small miracles. The ending had me tearing up and grinning happily and left my heart feeling very full!

My weird reading mood continues. Romance is clearly winning for me but it takes a while for me to pick anything up and keep going with it.

- Lizzie Blake’s Best Mistake → 48% → I don’t know why I haven’t picked this back up again cos I’ve been loving it but I feel like I need to gear myself up for the emotions, lol. I think I’ll finish this weekend.
- (KU) Fearless Heart → 58% → I knew this would be a quick and easy read and I was right. I started it during my lunch break and picked it back up after work and read for an hour. It’s a marriage of convenience/ nemesis-to-lovers romance, and it’s very horny, lol. If you love dirty-talking MMCs and praise-kink, you’ll definitely enjoy Walsh’s MMCs!
- (KU) The Revelation of Light and Dark → 3% → I haven’t read anything by this author but I know she’s known for her sports romances. But I just discovered she writes romantasy(?) too and since it’s on KU I decided why not? 🤷🏻♀️ Literally just started though!

The magic of ✨mood reading✨ means it could be any of these.

What’re you currently reading? Have you read any of these books or are they also on your TBR? Happy reading, friends! 😍

Eight? Seriously, that’s a lot. Eight books AND a five-star. It was a great week for you. I hope you pick Lizzie back up. I really liked that book. I am all about finding that person who loves you as is. That’s the best part of Lizzie’s story in my opinion.

Finishing 8 books in a week is a fantastic feat, made even more impressive since you did so while battling a migraine! I hope you’re feeling better now. Did you read Enchantment of Ravens? Or am I imagining that that was in your TBR list? Or maybe I missed that you read it already?! Ha.
