#TopTenTuesday: Typographic Book Covers

So, we’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is about Typographic Book Covers (Book covers with a design that is all or mostly all words. You can also choose to do books with nice typography if that’s easier!)

(Submitted by Mareli @ Elza Reads)

I almost missed this week’s TTT because I didn’t plan my week out well enough but this was a fun prompt to do (and it’s one I don’t think I’ve done before)! 😂 So this is a random assortment of covers where the typography takes up a majority of the cover and I thought the font was pretty eye-catching. That’s pretty much it so let’s get to it!

Once More Upon a Time by Roshani Chokshi
A People’s History of Heaven by Mathangi Subramanian
Kate in Waiting by Becky Albertalli
Big Girl, Small Town by Michelle Gallen
Words in Deep Blue by Cath Crowley

Wicked As You Wish by Rin Chupeco
Good Talk: A Memoir in Conversations by Mira Jacob
Final Girls by Riley Sager
One of Us Is Next by Karen M. McManus
A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chamber

Do you like book covers that are mostly typography or do you prefer mostly images? What are some of your favourite typographic book covers?

    • Thanks, Tanya! I think the typography for OMUaT really fits the story perfectly and I also love the one for Final Girls. It ended up working well with the author’s first name too 😍

    • It’s definitely not Chupeco’s most popular title but I love the cover so much. The typography is perfect for the story too! 😍 After doing TTTs for so long, it’s definitely rare to get a new topic but I still love doing this weekly meme!

  1. I almost missed this TTT due to doctor appointments but I knew I needed to get it done! It was a lot of fun. Great picks this week, Dini!
