So, we’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s prompt is: Books Guaranteed to Put a Smile On Your Face
As an emotional reader it doesn’t take much for a book to make me smile/laugh/cry so there were quite a lot of books to choose from for this prompt! I’m not much of a re-reader but even thinking about my reading experience with these books puts a smile on my face and manages to fill me up with warmth and it’s safe to say that I really enjoyed them! 🥰
Check, Please! – An adorable webcomic that makes me so so so happy!
The House in the Cerulean Sea – This should surprise absolutely no one. It was my fave 2020 read and ugh, ALL THE WARM FEELS!
Josh and Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating – One of my fave CLo books! These two were super sweet together and Hazel was just hilarious!
The Brown Sisters Series – I adore the Brown sisters and the banter is always so on point in these books! They not only make me smile but always have me cracking up big time!
Sing Anyway – This novella is getting featured a lot in my lists these days but I dare you to read this without feeling the warm fuzzy smiley feels! Sam and Lily make me so happy!
The Murderbot Diaries – I mean… It’s Murderbot? Do I need to say more? 😂
The Getting Lucky Series – This is my favourite Quinn series and her books always make me smile/laugh! I love this town, the romances, and the whole Knight family! One of my fave comfort romance series ❤️
The Bergman Brothers Series – This series is one of my all-time faves! Chloe Liese writes amazing romances and the Bergman family is the absolute BEST! They slay me with their banter every. single. time and I always want more (pls)!!!
Sorry I’m Late, I Didn’t Want to Come – I struggle with non-fiction but this is one of my faves. I 100% relate to pretty much everything Pan wrote in this. It had me laughing and crying and I loved it!
Everyone’s A Aliebn When Ur A Aliebn Too – I guarantee this adorably sweet graphic novel will leave you with a big smile on your face! I know it gave me all the warm fuzzies 🥰

Everytime you feature Sing Anyways I get the warm fuzzies! I LOVE THAT BOOK SO MUCH! Definitely a guaranteed smile with that. Dani Brown is also one of my faveees!

Sorry I’m Late, I Didn’t Want to Come — I seriously love that book! And I’m surprised at leaving it out from my own list. I struggle with non-fiction too, so I hear you. Really, I feel that book makes you want to give everyone a big hug. 🙂

YAS! I always love finding people who loved that book as well! It’s so underrated and I always shove it in peoples faces to read 😂 It definitely made me want to give peoples hugs and it also made me want to try and be everyone’s friend cos who knows who else is struggling?!

I read Josh and Hazel this summer and absolutely adored it! Christina Lauren are my favourite romance writers for sure. Great list 🙂

I’ve been trying to read more non-fiction lately (in fact, my TTT list today is about non-fiction), so I’m definitely going to give SORRY I’M LATE a try. I think I’ll really relate to it. I hadn’t heard of it before, so thanks for the heads-up!

Josh & Hazel was super cute! I just picked up Take a Hint so hopefully I can get to it soon. The Bergman Brothers series is high up on my want-to-buy list, and Sorry I’m Late is also on my tbr. Great choices!
