Booyah! Earlier this week I had a 76% rating but since I got approved for several more books yesterday I’m back down to 74%. My goal for the end of 2019 is to get to 100% but… realistically I think I’m going to try hitting 80% 😅

Yeah, I’ve done this before. I still do it sometimes especially when I’m in a rush and can’t find anything to wedge into my book before stuffing it back in my sleeve or bag, but I make it as teeny-tiny-microscopic of a fold as possible!

Omg, I was going to say that I’m still nice, but … I just got mad flashbacks to the time my water bottle SPILLED in my bag and The Cruel Prince was sitting in there (unprotected 😭) and… Water got into the spine… and it was painful!

DNF a book this year

If you’ve been following me for a while now, you’ll know that I don’t DNF books. It’s still something I’m “working” towards doing but I still haven’t gotten there yet. There’s one book that has been stuck on my “currently reading” list since February (I’m looking at you Goldfinch) as I went through a terrible slump then, but I’m hoping to finish it before the year ends! Or something… soon…

Surprisingly, no! I mean, I’ve bought books purely for its pretty cover/spine but I always intend to read the books I buy! It might not be tomorrow or even in a month’s time or… well, you get the point. But I always want to read them!

I’m quite pleased to know that I’ve kicked major Goodreads Reading Goal ass this year! I’ve never read so much in one year in my life, but it’s all thanks to the strong influence of the book community 😍 I’ve read 196/90 books!

I’m assuming these questions apply to our whole reading life span but surprisingly, I’ve actually always returned the library books I borrowed when I was in school! Sometimes they’d be late AF, but they’d always go back! 😇
