I’ll be rounding off my night with Indigo by Beverly Jenkins. I wanted to spend the day bingeing this and almost did until the afternoon when things got busy. It’s shaping up to be another 5-star read though and it might even be my fave Jenkins so far? Let’s see!

I’ve spent much of my Sunday with Open Water. It’s a short 160-pages but I’ve taken time to annotate it. It’s an absolutely stunning piece of writing that’s at turns achingly tender and heartbreaking. This is a book I know I will return to and get more out of with each read.

I discovered this series last night and took a peek at the first book by CLo and I have a feeling I’m gonna really enjoy these shorts! I’ll be spending my Sunday night reading what I’m ashamed to admit is a very overdue ARC. We’re working through the list (there’s a list!) slowly… I’m about 57% through Down Comes the Night. Saft has been on my radar for a while but this is my first book by her and for the most part, I’m enjoying it! 😊

Last night, I started two books but have kept on with only one of them today. I started The Places I’ve Cried in Public, a YA contemporary that I’ve been putting off for years because I knew I had to be in the right mood for it. I read about 20% but I’m not sure it’s working for me. I might DNF for now or try it again after I finish my second, fluffier read!

I’ll be spending my Sunday night in bed reading Song of Silver, Flame Like Night. I’ve been in a non-fantasy mood but I need to read it because I have the ARC of the second book to read by the first week of January! 😂 It took a couple of chapters for me to get into the story cos of my mood but I’m eager to get back to it now!

I’ve entered my shifter romance phase, friends! Kidding. Maybe? But I’ll be spending the rest of this Sunday in bed with The Lone Wolf’s Rejected Mate. This is the third in a rejected mate shifter romance and while I don’t think I’m loving the series, I don’t know, I guess I’m eating cos I’m on book three, lol. 😂
