I’ll spend the rest of my Sunday in bed reading I Am Not Jessica Chen by Ann Liang. I’ve heard incredible things about Ann Liang’s books and can see why. I’m only at 40% but it’s so packed with emotion! Liang has captured the teenage angst well and I think it’ll be relatable to anyone who has ever put pressure on themselves to be more/better/different/or just like that other person who’s incredibly successful, smart, rich, and looks like they have the best life.

I’m reading The Ten Thousand Doors of January with Leslie and Julie. It’s my first buddy read of the year, and I’ve had this book on my TBR for ages, so I’m glad to finally be reading it. I’ve gone for the full immersive read this time with the ebook and audio, and I love how Harrow brings memories and images to life through the sense of smell! The only thing is these chapters are SUPER long! 🤣

Um, hello, we’ve somehow reached the last Sunday of 2024?! Welp.

I finished my last read earlier and I haven’t decided what to read next. I’m leaning towards either A Language of Dragons or The Wilde Trials. Both these titles are January 2025 releases that I have ARCs for so I’m trying to stay ahead of the game for their pub dates!

I’m spending my Sunday night reading A Taste of Gold and Iron. I’ve been meaning to pick this up for ages and I came across it in my Kindle TBR the other day so I decided to give it a go. I found the world confusing initially but I’m getting into it now at 19%!

TBH, I might just end my night finishing Poison in their Hearts, which is my buddy read with Julie & Leslie. I need to know what happens! 🫣

I’m spending Sunday night in bed continuing my re-read of Stardust in their Veins by Laura Sebastian. It’s the second book in the series and it’s definitely giving “moving all the chess pieces into place” but I’m still enjoying it a lot! Daphne is truly trying my nerves though, lol.

I’m spending Sunday night in bed continuing my re-read of Castles in their Bones by Laura Sebastian. I’m re-reading this so that I can (hopefully) finish the series this year. I’ll be reading the second book with Leslie and then we’ll be reading the third book with Julie too. 💜 I’m excited for it!
