On the hunt for hidden treasure, two former best friends turned adversaries must put the past behind them if they hope to make it home.
This childhood-friends-to-lovers male/male romantic fantasy for fans of Tusk Love and Sara Raasch crackles with tension and heat.
When he isnโt training as a Warden to become half the hero his father was, Griff Sayer is in the business of breaking hearts all across the town of Mayfair, although that slows down after settling in with his current boyfriend. Griffโs exโbest friend, Mal Pryce, meanwhile, is in business with whatever or whoever puts good money in his hands. Now in their mid-twenties, Griff and Mal have only exchanged scathing looks and carefully barbed jabs since the fight that sent them their separate ways years ago. But all that begins to change when an attack Mal plotted for his shady boss leaves Griff near death and their childhood friend Alys as his savior, forcing them back into each otherโs orbit.
Livid at his boss, Mal makes a deal to earn his freedom and Griffโs safety. He has just four weeks to retrieve an ancient treasure from Rotrose Mire, a remote swamp known for its ghostly and beastly dangers, the same treasure Alysโs beloved father, Rhun, had been searching for when he disappeared for good. Armed with a map and a broken blade of Rhunโs, Mal sets offโwith Alys and a reluctant and newly single Griff in tow.
Yet the explosive tension between the two menโalong with the dangers of the mire pressing in around themโmakes for a more difficult journey than any of them could have anticipated. As Griff and Mal peel back their tough facades and shared feelings heat up in unexpected ways as they learn to trust again, they also realize that someoneโor somethingโseems to be following their path. Someone who doesnโt want them to succeed, no friend to their parentsโ old enemies, but also no friend to would-be heroesโฆ

๐SYNOPSIS
In this fresh, speculative blend of queer romance and coming-of-age, Eddie meets Theo in present-day New York and Francis in a New York of the pastโฆ torn between eras and his heart, he must make a decision that will change his life forever.
High school has just ended and Eddie is at a loss for whatโs next. He had a falling out with his best friend, and he never really related to the rest of his peers in the sleepy Colorado town he calls home. The future is bleak.
Until his ancient and eccentric great aunt Cookie asks him to care for her in New York City as she recuperates from an illness. Eddie leaps at the opportunity. Soon after he arrives at her tiny Greenwich Village apartment, homebound Cookie asks Eddie to use her vintage polaroid camera to snap pictures of her favorite places she can no longer visit. But somethingโs unusual about this camera. When he takes a photo, heโs launched back in time to an entirely different New York of the early 20th century.
As Eddie explores the underground queer life of the Roaring 20, he discovers new undercurrents of his own identity. Not to mention a dangerously handsome boy in scuffed boots and tattered stovepipe trousers who keeps popping up in his visions of the past.
But when Eddie begins to develop a crush on the mercurial Francis, a cute baker named Theo enters the pictureโand heโs in the present. Caught between timelines and feelings, Eddie must make a decision about what heโs willing to his romantic fantasies of the past or a reality that might just be what heโs wanted all along.
Tucker Shawโs novel, WHEN YOU CALL MY NAME, follows two gay teenagers during the height of the AIDS crisis in New York City in 1990. In hard times, nothing is more powerful than friendship.

The Last of Us meets The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes in this standalone dystopian romance about survival, sacrifice, and love that risks everything.
By encouraging massive accumulations of debt from its underclass, a single corporation, Caerus, controls all aspects of society.
Inesa lives with her brother in a half-sunken town where they scrape by running a taxidermy shop. Unbeknownst to Inesa, their cruel and indolent mother has accrued an enormous debtโenough to qualify one of her children for Caerusโs livestreamed assassination spectacle: the Lambโs Gauntlet.
Melinoรซ is a Caerus assassin, trained to track and kill the sacrificial Lambs. The product of neural reconditioning and physiological alteration, she is a living weapon, known for her cold brutality and deadly beauty. She has never failed to assassinate one of her marks.
When Inesa learns that her mother has offered her as a sacrifice, at first she despairsโthe Gauntlet is always a bloodbath for the impoverished debtors. But sheโs had years of practice surviving in the apocalyptic wastes, and with the help of her hunter brother, she might stand a chance of staying alive.
For Melinoรซ, this is a game she canโt afford to lose. Despite her reputation for mercilessness, she is haunted by painful flashbacks. After her last Gauntlet, where she broke down on livestream, she desperately needs redemption.
As Mel pursues Inesa across the wasteland, both girls begin to question everything: Inesa wonders if thereโs more to life than survival, while Mel wonders if sheโs capable of more than killing.
And both wonder if, against all odds, they might be falling in love.

Violet Spence wants nothing more than to have a normal life. After witnessing her childhood best friend get abducted by monsters, thatโs easier said than done. At twenty-three years old, Violet cannot seem to move past that fateful night ten years ago. Her only solace is Mages of Velmyra, a tabletop roleplaying game filled with goblins, fairies, and all-powerful magicians. But of course, thatโs all fantasy.
Or, so she thought. As it turns out, the land of Velmyra is very real and the home of the monsters that took her best friend.
With the help of her friends (and the creator of the game itself), Violet must navigate the once-fictional creatures and powerful mages of Velmyra to retrieve a set of ancient relicsโall in the hopes that the journey will lead her back to her friend.
