#TopTenTuesday: Books on my 2025 Summer Possibility Pile!

We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is: Books on My Summer 2025 to-Read List

If you’ve been on my page before, you’ll likely know that I’m not a TBR girlie and I’m all about the possibility piles. I’ve got a few books on my radar for the summer months and I hope I do actually get to them! ☀️

The Jasmine Throne by Tasha Suri
If We Were A Movie by Zakiya N. Jamal
Phantasma by Kaylie Smith
Copper Script by K.J. Charles
The Dungeon Anarchist’s Cookbook by Matt Dinniman

The Five: The Untold Lives of the Women Killed by Jack the Ripper by Hallie Rubenhold
Monstrous Nights by Genoveva Dimova
The Bullet That Missed by Richard Osman
The Galaxy, and the Ground Within by Becky Chambers
The Geographer’s Map to Romance by India Holton

What are your summer reading plans? Have you read any of these books or are they on your TBR, too?

    • I’m doing a re-read of Jasmine Throne before continuing with the rest of the series and I hope that I love it just as much as I did the first time! 🤞🏽 I hope you enjoy Copper Script whenever you get to it 🙂 Happy reading!

  1. Love your list, Dini. I totally forgot to put our current series long BR’s on mine!! I am soooo glad you love Dungeon Crawler!! I just finished book two this morning and it was SO good. I loved Jasmine Throne and Phantasma. I hope you enjoy them both, and all your reads!

    • I hope you enjoy Phantasma and Jasmine Throne whenever you get to them! I’m hoping to get the whole Jasmine Throne series done in the next couple of months and hopefully, I’ll enjoy it as much as everyone else seemed to 🙂

  2. Good luck getting to these. I’ll definitely be curious to hear what you think of Phantasma. And I need to try and get to The Jasmine Throne during the summer too. I’ve been desperate to read it for ages. I also really want to read The Five sometime, although I’m leaning towards picking up the authors 2025 release first. I hope all of the sequels here end up being hits and that you have a fantastic summer 🥰

    • I hope that I end up loving Phantasma as much as everyone else seemed to. It’s such a well-loved romantasy (but that also makes me a bit cautious about it, haha). I’m hoping to get the Jasmine Throne series done in the next few months… Hopefully, I’ll enjoy the re-read of book one! Ooh, I wasn’t aware that the author of The Five released a book this year. I’ll have to keep an eye out for it. I just recently got the audiobook of The Five and the preview I listened to made me want to continue reading it asap. I hope you enjoy all the books whenever you get to them and that you have a fantastic summer too, Charlotte! 🙂

      • It does seem incredibly popular. But I get your hesitation as I’m kind of the same about the genre in general. I want to fall for romantasy but I need the fantasy side of it to be strong, otherwise I roll my eyes when characters get sidetracked in life or death situations by taking each others clothes off 😂😂

I hope you enjoy the reread then 🥰 I didn’t realise it was the same author when I added it to my TBR tbh, but it’s another linked to a past killer. Ooh I hope it continues to keep you invested then. It sounds like such a promising start. Thank you 🥰🥰

  3. Good luck with your TBR! I really need to continue the Wayfarers series as I’ve only read the first two books 😄 I also just got The Thursday Murder Club second hand, so I’m excited to start this series!

  4. Oooh you’ve just reminded me about The Five! I’ve had it on my TBR for years, so I’m eager to see what you think of it. I also need to pick up The Geographer’s Map to Romance… I hope you enjoy all of these 🙂
