We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Ten Characters Authors Surprisingly Redeemed (which characters did you not like at first, but grew to love by the end of the book?) (submitted by Deanna @ A Novel Glimpse) but I’m going rogue!
If this was a different time, I could probably think of a few characters that authors surprisingly redeemed. Unfortunately, my brain capacity and energy are very limited at the moment so I’m going rogue and returning to the alphabet books. I’m on to the C’s now (here are the A’s and B’s) and all of these are titles I’ve read, enjoyed immensely or loved, and would recommend!

Castles in their Bones
Carter & Lovecraft
Cemetery Boys
Change of Heart
Chef’s Kiss

Chemistry
The Child Finder
Circe
Clap When You Land
Cloud Atlas

Have you read any of these and are any of them favourites?

I loved Cemetery Boys and Circe as well! I wasn’t so sure of Clap When You Land.

I’ve read a couple of Thomas’ books this year, so Cemetery Boys is definitely on my TBR too.

I enjoyed Clap When You Land a lot! I am especially glad that I listened to the audio for that one.

Haha, I also skipped this weeks prompt, but I love your idea, Dini! Castle’s in Their Bones is such a great book… that ending! And I really, really need to get round to reading Circe 🙂

This was a hard topic, but C books are great, too. I loved Clap When You Land. The mom was amazing. She had a big heart with what she did at the end there.

I’m going to have to use these A B C’s topics too when it gets hard like this week’s topic! I’ve only read Castles in Their Bones from this list but the others look great.
