We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is actually Relationship Freebie (Pick a relationship type and choose characters who fit that relationship as it relates to you. So, characters you’d like to date, be friends with, be enemies with, etc. Bookish families you’d like to be a part of, characters you’d want as your siblings, pets you’d like to take for yourself, etc.)
This is a fun topic that I don’t recall doing before for TTT. I decided to spotlight ten bookish families I’d love to be a part of, including found families because of course! After a quick browse through my read books over the years, I did have more than ten but I decided to focus on the ones that have really stuck with me since I read them. You’ll find families from romances (contemporary, paranormal) but plenty of (found) families from fantasies too! There are many reasons I want to be a part of these families but long story short (as you’ll quickly discover from my “short explanations”) I simply love these families and had a great time reading about them! 😍

- Getting Lucky Series – The Knightly’s are the first romance family I fell head over feet in love with. The community that they’re part of are amazing as well but ugh, how I’d love to be taken in by this bunch! 😍
- Nevermoor Series – Once in Nevermoor, Mog and the rest of the folk at The Deucalion Hotel make a wonderful found family. SO heartwarming!
- Jade City – No list of “book families I would like to be a part of” would be complete without the Kaul’s. They are incredible and real and please, can I be an honourary member? 😭
- The House in the Cerulean Sea – Oh, my heart. This found family gave me all the feels and I love them to bits!
- Stay a Spell Series – The Savoie sisters and their partners would be such a fun family to be a part of. I’d love to be part of all of that magic and all the shenanigans they get up to! 😂

- Cemetery Boys – A great found family with Julian and his crew, Yadriel and MARITZA! They’d get up to so much nonsense and I would love every terrifying and thrilling moment of it! 😍
- The Brown Sisters Series – The Brown sisters are amazing and their family?! Messy but lovely and adorable and I want to be a part of it, please! 🙏🏽
- The Bergman Brothers Series – I mean… The Bergman Family… What do I need to say about them? They’re a massive group and they’re hilarious, their sibling banter is spot on! This family has my heart 💜
- A Darker Shade of Magic Series – This ragtag bunch of misfits that I love to bits would be an amazing found family to be a part of. Kell, Rhy, Lila, Alucard, please bring me in! 🥹
- We Hunt the Flame Duology – Another found family that has been through the wringer with heartbreakingly tense moments but still have so much love for each other and great banter! They made this duology amazing!

Have you ever fallen in love with a book family? What book families do you want to be a part of? Any of these make the list?

Living in the Nevermoor hotel would be so much fun!

Great list! I almost added Cerulean to the last of my picks because I just want to be friends with everyone.. I did add Wolfsong because I feel the same with that whole family. haha. Jade City… yes.. even though it would be a scary life. haha.

Omg, imagine being in the same world with the Cerulean and Wolfsong found families 😍 It would be total chaos but I’d love it, haha. And yeah, being part of the Kaul family would be scary as heck and I’d probs die really quickly but haha, it would still be fun to be an honourary member of their clan 🤭

Seeing your list reminds me I only read half of Cemetary Boys before I had to return it to the library. Now I want to finish it.

I mean, I’d probably die within the first five minutes of being in that world but I think being a part of the Kaul family would be worth the risk 😂 Hahaha

I absolutely love Found Families! The only one I have read from your list is The House in the Cerulean Sea and it was amazing. I am so looking forward to getting to the sequel. I wish I had done this one last week, but was crazy busy (sounds weird to say as I am retired). Great list, Dini.
