I don’t even know where November went because it passed in a literal blink. How are we already in the last month of 2023 and can someone tell me how I can make time slow down a little? It’s been a stressful month with my anxiety skyrocketing thanks to work activities and I know the feelings won’t let up until at least mid-December when projects end and accounts close. 😮💨 Wish it was here already! The highlights for November include:
- My older (and only) brother got married! 🎊
- We gained a new sister in the family! 🌸
- I caved and finally bought Fae Farm and it was the best decision cos I’m obsessed with this cosy game! 🎮

I read 14 books this month. It was a pretty mixed bag of reading with the majority of my reads being 4 stars or below with one 5-star read. To be honest, I’m not really sure if it’s still a 5-star but we’ll keep it there for now.
*book covers are linked to Goodreads and text is linked to my review, if available*

My Goodreads challenge still hasn’t been updated from the earlier months but my spreadsheet shows I’ve read 149 books, which means I have on more book to go to reach my goal this year! I didn’t think it’d happen with how messy this year has been but yay, I’m happy that I at least have achieved this goal. 😃
Since I decided to join the 23for23 challenge at the start of October, I’ve read 11 books by BIPOC about BIPOC. I need to step up my game so hopefully, the majority of my December reads will complete this challenge.

I think I’ll make a separate “community posts” blog post this month because I just don’t have the brainwidth to look through my bookmarks at the minute. Look out for that post coming this weekend! 😃

And that’s a wrap on November! Holy granola, how are we already on the last month of the year?! How was your November in terms of reading and life in general? What was your favourite book? I hope the last month of 2023 will be amazing for you… But even if it’s not and you’re struggling, that’s OK too. Just know you got this and if ever you need a random ear, I’m here too! Take good care, friends 💜

You made it!!! I feel you on the work deadlines thing, we have a massive project month in the making that is culminating in about 2 weeks and I am so excited for it to be over so I don’t have to think about it and worry anymore xD kudos for deciding to just take something off your plate with the community post one. Self care in small ways ❤️

Way to get through November! I know you didn’t read as much as normal, but it looks like you had a good reading month anyways.

I lost the last two weeks of November as I was down and out with a nasty viral infection that I’m still trying to get over. I hope December is good to you!

I wish time would slow down, too! And my anxiety was off the charts in November, as well. Here’s hoping we have a much better December! ❤

I hope once mid-december rolls around, you can get some good relax time in Dini. (Or even that the work stress will go down even sooner.)
For the longest time I wasn’t sure I would make a 100 this year. And then I was at 133. Sometimes we just end up speeding through it for some reason.

This November has definetly been a quicker one than usual, I’m convinced! Are the E. J. Mellow books a series? It’s interesting that they seem quite spread out ratings-wise.
