So, we’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s prompt is: Books On My Fall 2020 TBR (or spring if you live in the southern hemisphere)
I’m calling it The Current Possibility Pile because I live in the tropics and get neither autumn or spring. My seasons consist of hot/humid and hot/humid/rainy, right now it’s the latter, but the sun continues to shine bright every day! I’m also a mood reader so set TBRs are not a thing for me. Lately my moods have been all over the place and the reality is that the possibilities in this pile are more than likely to change the minute I pick one or several of these books up 😂 That’s just really how it be for me!
On that note, I do have a lot of blog tour reads that I need to get through in the coming months (so I guess that really is a TBR lol) but I’ve decided I’m going to focus this list on all the books I want to read outside of the tours I’m joining and outside of the ARCs I have to read!

The Dragon Republic: TPW wrecked me so I took a break. But I can’t wait to read this! *screaming*
Real Men Knit: I’ve been so keen to read this and it just sounds so cute/feel good!
Skyward: OK so I started this a bit already but my mood–she’s fussy! Can’t wait to dive back in
Loathe at First Sight: Give me more Asians in romance! Plus our MC is a gamer–I’m here for it!
Take A Hint, Dani Brown: Read Chloe Brown last month & loved it. Can’t wait for Dani’s story!
Legendborn: I’ve heard so many amazing things about this — the FOMO is real!
Permanent Record: I loved Choi’s debut and heard great things about this one too!
You Had Me At Hola: Honestly? I just can’t resist this cover!
The Vampire Knitting Club: I’ve been wanting to read more cosy mysteries & this sounds good!
The Tourist Attraction: Nothing like a good romance set in Alaska! 😍
Hmm… It sure does seem that I’m in a romance mood, huh? Let’s see how long that lasts! LOL

Are you a seasonal reader? What books are on your autumn/
spring TBR? Have you read any of these?

I also want to read You Had Me at Hola. It sounds lovely. 🙂

I’ve heard so many people say Legendborn is one of their favourite fantasies ever and I’m sooo curious but also trying not to get my hopes up too high? 😂 I also heard Dani Brown was even better than Chloe Brown so I’me ven more excited to try it! Hope you enjoy your reads too, Jess!

Legendborn is on my TBR pile too! I managed to get it from NetGalley. Skyward is as well, I may way until the series is complete before I start that as if I’m correct, the next book is delayed.

I was surprised to see it going for £2.99 the other day so I quickly snapped it up! Can’t wait to read it 🙂 waiting until the Skyward series is complete is probably a good idea but I already started it now and it’s so good I don’t want to stop 😂 Hope you enjoy both whenever you get to them, Vee!

I’m such a mood reader, too. I struggle with TBR posts because, really, who knows what I’ll even want to read in a week? So I love that this is your Possibility Pile! And there are so many great books on it. I just read The Vampire Knitting Club a few weeks ago and it’s a ton of fun. I hope you enjoy it.

Haha exactly! My moods have been so crazy lately that I don’t settle on a book until after maybe going through 4-5 and trying them out! 😂 I think I saw you mention the Vampire Knitting Club and I think that’s when I added it to my TBR! I’m looking forward to it 🙂

I’m a total mood reader, too, so I get it. 🙂 The Tourist Attraction looks so adorable and I’ve been curious about it.

Same! I’m tempted to hold off until closer to the release date of the last book but… I don’t know if I can wait? 😂 I’ve had everyone telling me it’s going to wreck me completely! Haha

The struggles of attempting to make a tbr as a mood reader are real lol. I LOVE the cover for You Had Me At Hola! I just finished The Dragon Republic the other week and I’m still not over it. I hope you enjoy all of your reads this season 😀

Same! The cover for You Had Me at Hola is probably one of my fave romance covers this year 😍 Such bright and bold colours–I love it! Also, I am probably gonna be in the same boat as you after reading Dragon Republic. I’m really tempted to wait until The Burning God comes out before reading it because… I dunno, can I handle the wait?! 😂

Hahah I can’t lie, the wait for book three after the ending of TDR is killing me! I’m just glad I’m not the only one suffering in the wait LOL.

Okay but I want to read every single one of these!! I’d love to set out a TBR for the rest of this year but I too am such a mood reader, I just can’t commit *sigh*

Haha I’m excited to read all of these but as a mood reader with wildly swinging moods of late, I’m probably not going to get through half of these anytime soon? 😂 welp, sometimes mood reading can be such a pain!

I adore the name Current Possibility Pile and am absolutely going to start referring that way to my TBR. I really enjoyed The Vampire Knitting Club, its quirky and fun, hope you do too 😊

Yes! It’s the only way in my opinion. The possibilities are always endless and as a mood reader, they change all the time 😉 I’m so looking forward to Vampire Knitting Club! Sounds like the perfect cosy 🙂

So many amazing books on this list Dini! 🙂 I really hope that you can get a good chunk of them read. I just finished Dragon Republic and OMG. I’M BROKEN. :’-( It was so good and hoping to jump right into book 3.

OMG I’m scared, Leslie!!! I mean, TPW already crushed me but everyone’s telling me TDR is going to wreck me even more and I am definitely NOT ready for this 😂 But I also don’t know if I can handle waiting any longer LOL I hope you enjoy TBG! Can’t wait to hear your thoughts! Happy reading 🙂

YOU ARE NOT READY!!!! I honestly think you should just jump right into it. Its so much easier when it’s all fresh. Also, probably more hard hitting. haha. It’s definitely going to crush you so much more than TPW!! It’s so good though!! You can do it!!! 🙂

Haha omg I don’t know if this has convinced me to pick it up now or keep holding off on reading it 😂😂😂 I think I’m gonna have to gear myself up a little more — especially since finishing TPW sent me into a bit of a hangover slump coz nothing measured up!!! Eek

Yeah, I totally hit a slump after it too. Still struggling. I’m barely reading and if so.. audiobooks! lol I started Burning God…. got one chapter in and said NOPE! I’m NOT READY! HAHAHA.
