Since last week I’ve managed to finish two books.
(ARC) A Little Bit Country by Brian D. Kennedy ★★★★☆
Country music. Delicious southern cuisine. Theme park shenanigans. Sweet, slightly angsty first love. This was a fun read but it was definitely angstier than expected.

(ARC) So Not Meant to Be by Meghan Quinn ★★★★☆
It took a little while for me to get past the childish antics but I ended up loving the antagonistic banter and the chemistry between JP and Kelsey was absolute fire!

I’m still getting through The War of Two Queens but I haven’t picked it up again since Sunday night (oops)! Ngl, it’s a bit of a slog but I hope to power through… Soon? 😂

I saw that Leslie was slogging through TWOTQ also. Bummed to hear it. I’m hoping to start The Crown of Gilded Bones soon.

I hope you enjoy Crown of Gilded Bones! It took me until the end of that one to really be like *wowzer, that’s what I’ve been waiting for* but it’s just slow getting back into it now especially with such a long break between—I don’t remember who so many characters are 😂

Okay.. I am at 89% right now on TWOTQ and ALMOST done. hahahah! Whew!! I really hope that you can get through it this weekend! I know that you’ve been busy. I can’t wait to start Felix because I need a good read!! ❤

I get what you’re saying about So Not Meant To Be. I gave it 4 stars, too. Kelsey made me irritated at times.
