Sundays in Bed With… #MyWeeklyWrapUp

We’re back with another Sundays in Bed With… meme! This meme dares to ask you what book has been in your bed this morning and is hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Come share what book you’ve spent time curled up reading in bed with, or which book you wish you had time to read today!

I’ll be spending my Sunday night in bed with Our Violent Ends by Chloe Gong. This is the second and final book in the These Violent Ends duology and I’m looking forward to seeing how the story concludes! I had planned to read much more before now but sadly, it hasn’t happened so I’m only two chapters in! 😂

What are you currently reading?

This past week has passed in a blur. There was a lot that needed doing and before I knew it, it was Friday, I hadn’t packed and I was *stressed*. As I’m writing this, I’m still recovering from my 24-hour ‘non-stop’ drive from Bali to Jakarta. I left Bali at 4:30 on Saturday morning and arrived in Jakarta at 3:30 on Sunday morning, and let me tell you, I was absolutely wrecked! My body aches, my brain is saying no to everything and I have the barest minimum of energy. The thought of unpacking makes me want to chuck my whole suitcase in the closet—why is packing/unpacking so awful?!

I came home to a few packages that were delivered over the month+ that I was away and I managed to at least sort those out so my room is looking 5% less cluttered and storage-like. I also love unboxing and opening mail so it wasn’t such a bother! 😉 FYI: the picture includes possible spoilers for the April Illumicrate and May Afterlight boxes, so scroll fast if you don’t want to see!

I’ve been quite MIA on the blogosphere this week and I’m only just now getting around to responding to comments and engaging with other blogs. I honestly don’t know if it’s going to get better in the coming week(s) but I’m gonna do my best! 🙈

ICYMI, here’s what I posted on the blog this week:

phases – prettymuch

I hope you’ve all had a good weekend and that you have a great week ahead! Take care of yourselves and of each other, friends 🖤

    • Thanks, Jenny! Ooh, I switched over at the start of this year and no regrets. I love their editions so much and I always find their merch useful (well, so far anyway lol)! I hope you love their June box! 😍

    • It definitely felt longer than previous drives and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without my uncle, who’s like a powerhouse when it comes to driving without feeling tired 😂 Hope you’re having a great week, Sam!

    • It was definitely rougher than previous trips. Definitely won’t be doing one anytime soon anymore 😂 And yes! I’m so happy with this panda mug—my sister did great 😍 I hope you’re having a great week!

  1. Glad you made it back safely, even if, it was much longer than anticipated! That kind of a drive will really tire you out! It’s okay.. I’m just now making progress in our buddy read bc it was a busy weekend too. We got this!! Hopefully, we can finish before our next BR with Maya on Wed!!

      • Yes, that was insanely long. HAHA. I have so many pains when I get out of bed anymore. I feel terribly old, and I cannot even imagine being in a car that long. LOL! I really hope Poppy isn’t as annoying. *Crossing fingers* haha
