Sundays in Bed With… #MyWeeklyWrapUp

We’re back with another Sundays in Bed With… meme! This meme dares to ask you what book has been in your bed this morning and is hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Come share what book you’ve spent time curled up reading in bed with, or which book you wish you had time to read today!

I’ll be spending my Sunday in bed finishing Everything for You by Chloe Liese. If you don’t know this about me, I’m a huge Chloe Liese fan and I adore all of her books, so I was beyond excited to get an ARC of this. Oliver and Gavin are just… Everything. *sobs in happy* 🥹🥹🥹

It’s out next week (10 May) and I can’t wait for you all to read it!

What are you currently reading?

For some reason, my anxiety has kicked up a bit this week as I think about things I need to do and things that are happening in the next few weeks. At the same time, I’ve also been feeling a lottle restless and the combination of the two is not so great. 😅

But it’s my birthday month and I was talking to Leslie (as it’s also her bday month!) about treating myself with books and she did a great job of convincing me I shouldn’t feel guilty about doing it so… I spoiled myself with a few books, haha! I initially set out to buy The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea cos she read it and said it was possibly one of her faves of the year but then I saw these other books and was like OK, LETSGO! Surprisingly, I immediately read Galatea by Madeline Miller and it was the shortest book I’ve read in a long time but I loved it. 😍

It’s been kind of a slow reading week as with my anxiety and restlessness I’ve found it a bit hard to get into whatever I pick up. That said, I’m speeding through my current read and I find that no surprise because I love Chloe Liese so much and honestly, Oliver and Gavin and all the meddling nosies in the story that have made it such a delightful read. It’s exactly what I needed right now and it’s giving me all the heartwarming feels and I love them so so so so much. SO MUCH.

On that note, ICYMI, here’s what I posted on the blog this week:

state lines – novo amor
strong bon iver/old sea brigade/imaginary future vibes!

I hope you’ve all had a good weekend and that you have a great week ahead! Take care of yourselves and of each other, friends 🖤

  1. I can’t wait to pick up Everything For You. I’ve had the arc too but I’m in such a weird romance space right now. Nothing is fully working for me and I think it’s my mood, so I’m waiting until I’m in a better mood to read it. I’m sorry you’ve been feeling anxious. I hope you find the time to take care of yourself. Also yay birthday month! Books and treating yourself are never a bad idea during birthday months!
