Since last week I’ve finished 4 books. Well, it was inevitable at the rate that I was reading last month that I’d slow down at some point and I’ve finally hit that point 😂
Blackout by Various Authors ★★★★★
I literally have nothing bad to say about this anthology. I loved the way the stories were interconnected and I enjoyed every minute of reading them. I only wish that they could’ve been longer because I didn’t want to move on at the end of each one! Highly recommended 😍
The Thirteenth Hour (The Cruel Gods #1) by Trudie Skies ★★★★½
If you enjoy fantastic world-building, a great cast of main and supporting characters, and a compelling mystery in an urban gothic setting, then you won’t want to miss out on this gem! It’s one of the most unique urban steampunk portal fantasies that I’ve had the pleasure to read! My review.
Boss in the Bedsheets (The Santillian Triplets #2) by Kate Canterbary ★★★¾
This was pretty instalove but I somehow didn’t mind because I loved Ash and Zelda, and I loved watching Ash be a total simp for her. I love how Canterbary’s H’s love on their h’s—it’s swoontastic! 😍
The Belle and the Beard (The Santillian Triplets #3) by Kate Canterbary ★★★★★
Hello, meet my favourite Canterbary book. I did not expect the intensity of FEELINGS I’d have for this or the way I lost my mind over Jasper and Linden. Holy hotness, this book was rude. SO RUDE with its powerhouse heroine and lumberbear hero! 🥵 Pls. I am fool!
I’ve been feeling restless with the need to pick up all the books at the same time, which has resulted in me not really reading much of anything? Still working to shake off this feeling but I’ve been mostly ‘reading’ The Witch, the Sword and the Curse Knights by Alexandria Rogers. I’m reading this MG fantasy for a blog tour next week and it’s now starting to pick up so I’m keen to see where it goes!

Being a mood reader sucks sometimes so I haven’t started The Worst Guy yet (despite adding it to my Kindle lol) but I’m looking forward to it. I’m definitely vibing more with Canterbary’s books now and I’m loving them 😍 I hope you love The Belle and the Beard!

I still managed to read a lot last week BUT I have really slowed down this week! I am kind of nervous. haha! I have been watching more tv at night and that’s usually not a good sign. It’s okay though. As long as, I get my ARC’s for this month done (1) then I’m good. I do need to figure out some Black Author books for Pondathon Side Quest. Did you want to read any of those together? I hope you have a great week, even if you slow down a bit. 🙂 ❤

Haha, the nerves. Yes, Leslie, THE NERVES 🥺 I’m doing better this week with some novellas and audiobooks but I really can’t wait to start our buddy read tomorrow. I need that extra push/drive 😍

I KNOW! I am so looking forward to it to kick start me into a reading mood. I’m kind of slugging with my current read and it’s been much better since about 40% but its my mood. LOL! I think some MG’s that I have planned for next week will help too!!

I always forget about The Belle and the Bard when I name my Canterbary favorites. I need to remember it. You’re going to LOVE The Worst Guy. It’s my new favorite along with The Cornerstone. Her books are so binge worthy!

Ugh goodness Linden and Jasper WRECKED ME in the best way. It was too hot! 🥵 I still have The Cornerstone on my TBR too but I can’t wait to dive into that one and The Worst Guy (I have a feeling I really will love it lol)! 😍 They really are so binge worthy!

I didn’t read the first one cos I saw pretty not great reviews for it but the second and third books were fun 😍 I also need to catch up with her books but so far I’ve been reading them based on Nick’s and Sil’s tweets about them 😂 Haha!

I didn’t read the first book and don’t have plans to (cos it’s a trope I don’t vibe with) but these two were definitely fun. SUPER steamy 🥵

Yaaas, I’m really starting to get into Canterbary’s books (my first try was not a win but I’m so glad I gave her another try lol)! They’re just so bingeable 😍
