#TopTenTuesday: Mardi Gras Colour Covers!

So, we’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s prompt is: Purple, Yellow, and/or Green Book Covers (in honor of Mardi Gras, which is today!)

I’ve never celebrated Mardi Gras/Carnival in real life although I spent a few hours yesterday participating in the Festival event in Animal Crossing New Horizones and it was a definitely a fun time! 😉 So today’s prompt was a really fun one and I know I’m probably gonna be missing out on a ton of purple, yellow and green book covers but I tried to get a good mix of colours and genres on my list today (lol who am I kidding it’s mostly romance and fantasy! 😂). I’ve loved all of these books (and highly recommend them!) but it also doesn’t hurt that they have great covers too! 😍 I love the brightness and colour pop of all three colours but especially the purples and yellows! Anyway, without further ado, let’s take a look at these popping covers:

Take A Hint, Dani Brown
The Kinder Poison
Well Met
The Bride Test
Autoboyography

Always Only You
Chemistry
Tristan Strong Punches a Hole in the Sky
Little Fires Everywhere

Love and Other Words

Do you find yourself particularly pulled to purple/yellow/green covers? What colour cover do you have the most of on your shelf? Have you read any of these?

  1. So we definitely have some books in common (no surprise there). Tristan Strong Punches a Hole in the Sky is directly off my shelf of books that I have checked out from the library right now! And you know how much I love Dani Brown. I’m planning to read the Kiss Quotient soon, and I’ve heard such great things about it, and I’ve really got to read Little Fires Everywhere. PS all of these covers are so pretty! Yeah, I judge books by their covers. lol

  2. The festival was soooo fun on Animal Crossing! omg, we need to be friends on there. I have none! haha! I still need to read that Christina Lauren book! I just found them last year and working my way, so I don’t feel SO bad. haha

  3. I keep wondering whether I should watch the tv series of Little Fires Everywhere. I haven’t read the book yet but the trailer for the series looks pretty good.
I’d never heard of The Kinder Poison but that cover alone makes me want to know more about it.

  4. Great list, Dini! Take a Hint, Dani Brown made my list this week, too. 😀 Well Met was so much fun–I’m looking forward to Well Matched!–and I really need to try Little Fires Everywhere as well. I loved Everything I Never Told You, so it’s a bit ridiculous I haven’t read anything else by Celeste Ng yet!
