#TopTenTuesday: Most Anticipated Releases 2020 (First Half)

It’s that time of the week again, friends! We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s prompt is: most anticipated releases for the first half of 2020. It’s amazing how one year of immersing myself in the book community has made me so aware of upcoming releases. I still don’t keep track as much as others do, but before 2019 I had zero clues. Honestly, I still don’t even know what or how I’d find books to read before then 😂 On that note, there are quite a few releases that I’m keen to get my hands on this year (unfortunately for me, I’m locking down on my spending this year so I’ll only be adding a select few to my shelves in 2020)! I’ve already mentioned five books in this post, but here are ten more that I’m super keen for:

Loveboat, Taipei
Scavenge the Stars
Tweet Cute

MARCH 2020
Wicked As You Wish
In Five Years

MARCH 2020
My Dark Vanessa
The Honey-Don’t List

APRIL 2020
Ruthless Gods

MAY 2020
Girl, Serpent, Thorn
The Jane Austen Society

What new books are you anticipating in the first half of 2020?
Are you keen for any of the books on my list?

    • Yay! We can always do with more CLo, right?! I’m really excited to try In Five Years. I haven’t read any of her books before and this one sounds like it’ll break my heart (hopefully in the best way) lol I hope we both enjoy it, Tanya 🙂

  1. This is a good list!! I’m excited for quite a few of these. I got an arc of Wicked As You Wish in a book box and am sooo excited to start it. Haven’t heard of a couple of these books before (like Tweet Cute!) but will be adding it to my tbr! I, in typical fashion, am most excited for Chain of Gold lol.

    • I’m so excited for these books! I’ve heard some pretty great things about My Dark Vanessa from those who managed to snag the ARC. It sounds like a very heavy and dark read but also very relevant and important. I can’t wait to read it 🙂

    • Oh Dini it’s amazingly well written. Truly blew my mind last year. I love the power it gives back to victims. Yes it’s tough subject matter but it’s incredibly readable and because the book really is about agency and ownership it somehow makes the awful parts okay to read. You need someone to hold your hand through the read then I’m here Dini!!!!! Could talk about that book forever

      • Yep! Whenever I see mention of this book I always think about how I first heard about it on your blog! 😊And then all the reviews I read about after just made me even more excited because they all praise it so much! I’ll be sure to hit you up if I need some handholding! 🥰
