It’s that time of the week again, friends! We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s prompt is: most anticipated releases for the first half of 2020. It’s amazing how one year of immersing myself in the book community has made me so aware of upcoming releases. I still don’t keep track as much as others do, but before 2019 I had zero clues. Honestly, I still don’t even know what or how I’d find books to read before then 😂 On that note, there are quite a few releases that I’m keen to get my hands on this year (unfortunately for me, I’m locking down on my spending this year so I’ll only be adding a select few to my shelves in 2020)! I’ve already mentioned five books in this post, but here are ten more that I’m super keen for:

Great list! Scavenge the Stars is one I’m so intrigued by, but I’d love to read The Count of Monte Cristo first. The cover of Girl, Serpent, Thorn is so pretty!

I actually haven’t read Count of Monte Cristo either and I’ve been toying whether to read it first or not lol I’ve heard pretty positive things about Scavenge the Stars though! 😍

I’ve got an ARC for Wicked As You Wish and Ruthless Gods, and oh my gosh, I can’t wait to read them both! Also, I admire how you’re totally trying to limit yourself book-wise. I have, like, negative willpower stats, so this amazes me.

TBH I was shook! I thought I’d be the last person who’d get on a blog tour for a pretty popular author’s book! I know I’m super lucky to have got it 😆Haha

I saw the Jane Austen one bouncing around and it looks quite cute! I’ll keep an eye out for when it’s released.

This is a good list!! I’m excited for quite a few of these. I got an arc of Wicked As You Wish in a book box and am sooo excited to start it. Haven’t heard of a couple of these books before (like Tweet Cute!) but will be adding it to my tbr! I, in typical fashion, am most excited for Chain of Gold lol.

Omg receiving an ARC in a book box sounds amazing! I’ve never read anything by Chupeco before but I just love the title of the book and it looks amazing. I hope you enjoy it! Chain of Gold was defo a popular one in this TTT. I’m keen to check it out as well 😊

Oh Dini it’s amazingly well written. Truly blew my mind last year. I love the power it gives back to victims. Yes it’s tough subject matter but it’s incredibly readable and because the book really is about agency and ownership it somehow makes the awful parts okay to read. You need someone to hold your hand through the read then I’m here Dini!!!!! Could talk about that book forever
