#TopTenTuesday: Brand New Christmassy Books!

It’s that time of the week again, friends! We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s prompt is: a freebie! I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with this freebie, but after some thought I decided that I would try injecting a little bit of holiday cheer to my blog, so I’m looking at the brand new holiday titles on my shelf. I’m not much of a holiday or seasonal reader so I don’t have any Christmassy books, but that is all changed today, friends! Early this morning I read Jana’s ‘A Bookish Little Christmas’ post and couldn’t help getting sucked right into the holiday mood, intense tropical heat notwithstanding! I mean, everything about the post screamed CHRISTMAS BOOK BUYING TIME…and what do you think I did? 😅 If you guessed that I went and bought all the Christmassy books then you’re spot on! Okay, I’m kidding (only a little bit). I did buy some but there are quite a few options available on Kindle Unlimited, in case you’re looking for a holiday read! I’m going to go ahead and say that pretty much 100% of these were cover buys 😍

Magic Under the Mistletoe
This sounds like a quick little office romance-y type of Christmas read and I’m here for it!

Christmas Every Day
The synopsis sounds so cute and obviously the cover is really cute too!

Cold Feet at Christmas
I’m a big sucker for these kinds of illustrated covers and the synopsis sounded really cute. Mountain man cute!

Winter Street
I’ve seen this one everywhere since December rolled in and I’m very curious about it. Haven’t read anything by this author before but I do have one or two of her books on my TBR already!

Alaskan Holiday
Alaska? Christmas? Romance? INSTA-BUY!

A Wedding in December
This is another book that I’ve been seeing quite a bit on people’s Christmassy/holiday reads! Love this cover too 😍

Snow Angel Cove
Love the cover. It’s also one of the recommendations from Jana’s post!

Christmas at the Comfort Food Cafe
All I really needed to see was this cover because FAVORITE! But a comfort food cafe sounds like my jam, although I’m actually a little worried this one might be a little too sweet for me to handle 😂 Sounding like a total grinch!

Little Shop on Silver Linings Street
This one sounded really cute and swoony but the cover is also a win factor for me!

All I Want for Christmas is You
LOOK AT THAT GOOD GOOD BOI 😍🥰😍

Are you a seasonal reader? Are you reading Christmassy books this month? What do you think of my newbie choices?

  1. What a festive list. I’ve seen Alaskan Holiday floating around several TTT lists these past few weeks, and I’m getting more and more curious about it.

My TTT. Thanks for stopping by already to say hello!

    • Yeah, a lot of them are romances, eh? I still haven’t read a cozy mystery myself but I’ve seen a lot of them with awesome names and covers too! It would be great to see a Christmas themed fantasy short story or graphic novel even 😍

    • A lot of people have been talking about the Sarah Morgan book and Hilderbrand series and I couldn’t resist picking them up yesterday. I don’t normally read festive/holiday books but I’m excited to try these ones out 😍 Thanks for stopping by, Suzanne!

    • Saaame here! It’s sweltering outside right now (as I imagine it’s getting to be the same in Australia too?) but I’m really craving a nice hot cup of cocoa with loads of whipped cream 😍🤤

  2. So many Christmasy books! I confess, I’m not much of a Christmas reader, either. I’ve resisted so far (though, there’s a cozy mystery series featuring dogs that I think I’m gonna grab from my library, because I’m only human and can only stare at cute Christmas puppers for so long before I cave).

I’ve read a few Debbie Macomber books, but it was yearssss ago. My grandmother always loved her, though, and I enjoyed the ones I’ve read. She’s a name that I always associate with Christmas reads, and it’s hard to go wrong with any of her books, I think. I hope you enjoy all your holiday reads. :3
